Frequently Asked Questions
Are test drives allowed?
No, they are not. America First Credit Union does not have a Dealer's License or the necessary Insurance to allow test-drives.
Are the units inspected by a mechanic?
No, none of the units are inspected. We encourage potential buyers to inspect units prior to purchasing.
Can the paperwork be done at my local branch?
It is preferred to have the paperwork completed at the Marriott/Slaterville Branch. Titles for these units are located at this branch. Paperwork may be done at another branch; it would just need to be arranged.
Is a Carfax provided?
Yes, a free Carfax report is provided on all automobiles.
The car has imperfections that are not reflected in the photos.
Photos may not show every blemish. These are used vehicles and will most likely have blemishes in the exteriors and interiors. This is why we strongly encourage buyers to personally inspect units prior to purchasing.
I submitted a "Buy it Now" bid and am out of town. Will you hold it for me until I can get back?
"Buy it Now's" are time sensitive and must be inspected and paid for within one business day.
Do I have to be the high bidder to look at a car at the repossession lot?
No, the public is welcome to inspect the listed repossessions at Lost Recovery Ogden anytime during the hours of operation.
Are the titles branded?
No, only units with clean titles are represented on the repossession sale site.
Will the title of the car be branded because it is a repossession?
No, titles are only branded when rebuilt or a total loss due to physical damage occurred. Financial loss has nothing to do with the physical condition of a car or title.
Is this unit guaranteed?
America First Credit Union offers no warranties or guarantees. All units are sold as-is. You may contact the manufacturer to inquire concerning existing warranties.
Can I submit a bid by phone?
No, all bids need to be submitted online.
